From the web app
- Sign in at app.offmap.eu with your username or email and password.
- Open your profile, tap the gear and choose “User settings”, then the “Account” tab.
- At the bottom tap “Delete account”: read what gets deleted and confirm with your password.
From the OffMap app for Android
The same steps: profile, gear, “User settings”, “Account” tab, “Delete account”. Maps and itineraries saved on the phone are deleted from the “Offline maps” page or by uninstalling the app.
By email
Write to support@offmap.eu from your account’s address asking us to close it: we carry out the deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted at once
Profile, garage, download history, unlocked stretches, points and challenges, itineraries, reviews and photos, events you organise (participants are notified), registrations, questions, reports and unused single itineraries. You are signed out and any Explorer Plus subscription is cancelled at once, with no refund for the remaining period.
What is kept and for how long
- For 10 years, for accounting obligations and legal protection, a separate record with username, email, registration IP, date and version of the accepted Terms, Stripe customer ID and financial transactions, not linked to any profile.
- For up to 10 years the email fingerprint (a code from which the address cannot be rebuilt) of anyone who had the Plus trial or an invitation reward, only for the “once per person” rules.
- The log of sent emails for up to 12 months and technical logs for up to 14 days.
